Okay so I’m up late and I just rewatched Thor, including the Easter egg at the end when Nick Fury shows the scientist guy the tesseract. Also shown is Loki, standing behind him invisibly, controlling his mind (without touching him with his spear).
Why doesn’t Loki just take the tesseract in this scene? Also, in The Avengers, why does he travel through the gate if he’s already...
